Job Description

  • Greet guests upon arrival and advise them on table QR code ordering.
  • Provide excellent customer service and management at all times.
  • Assist guests with baby chair and/or wheelchair requirements.
  • Take orders over the counter and handle payment collection.
  • Assist guests with menu inquiries and recommend dishes based on their preferences and menu offerings.
  • Upsell additional items to increase revenue and enhance guests' experience.
  • Perform cashiering duties on the POS system.
  • Assist in managing stock positioning, shelf life, and monitor stock levels.
  • Perform operational duties, including barista tasks, order taking, serving, clearing garbage, and general cleaning within the outlet.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at all times.
  • Ensure all menu offerings are in stock and provide recommendations for food and beverage items.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as preparing sauces or desserts, as needed.
  • Prepare drinks according to recipes.
  • Serve drink and food orders promptly and accurately.
  • Clean and set tables in preparation for new guests.
  • Attend to guests' requests promptly and check on their overall dining experience.
  • Set up and clear the cafe before and after service, depending on the shift assigned.
  • Prepare and replenish stations before the shift starts.
  • Maintain cafe cleanliness and workstations.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as per SOP.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the manager on duty.

Requirements

  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience working in a café kitchen is preferred
  • Approachable demeanor

  • Fluent in spoken English

  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Previous café experience is advantageous
