Mechanical Manager is responsible for monitoring the project team's overall process and operations. Ultimately, you will be managing the assigned projects by ensuring the adherence to the required specifications, budget goals and timeline.
- Manage mid-scale project and assist site Project Manager and Director on larger-scale projects.
- Provide trainings and guidance to Project Engineers and Engineers.
- Review and supervise the development of technical skills of the team members.
- Undertake strategic projects planning, including feasibility analysis, design optioneering, modelling, budgeting, space planning and developing effective solution for various projects.
- Review and comment the basic design drawings and other relevant documents issued by the contractors to ensure that the Plant is designed in conformance to the company requirements and will be constructed to a high level of efficiency, availability, reliability, plant safety, operability, and maintainability in accordance with the applicable standard and code.
- Attend factories inspection upon invitation by the equipment manufactures to witness the production and factory acceptance tests.
- Manage and support in various stages of project development to project completion, including risk assessment, critical path management and stakeholder management.
- Manage project execution assignments (permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, as applicable) to achieve commercial operations within required timeline and budget in full compliance with the contracts.
- Manage the design review of 9HA.01 combined cycle power plant, site supervision of construction and installation, quality assurance and quality control, commissioning supervision of 9HA.01 combined cycle power plant.
- Enure the site implement the respective designs according to the endorsed design drawings.
- Review the outstanding work procedures including punch lists and open non-compliance records.
- Fill up and maintain all the project requested ISO documents as per ISO audit requirement.
- Keep track record on all assigned project documents.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.
