- Role combines responsibilities related to assisting in managing and organizing inventory or stock in a warehouse or storage facility with driving and transportation tasks
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods and materials
- Accurately record inventory levels and maintain organized inventory storage
- Conduct regular stock checks to verify quantities and report discrepancies
- Ensure proper storage and handling of items to prevent damage or spoilage
- Prepare items for shipping, including labelling and packaging
- Collaborate with the sales or logistics team to prioritize order shipments
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move and organize inventory
- Operate company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport goods and materials
- Make scheduled deliveries to customers or other locations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance
- Complete delivery notes, receipts, and other necessary paperwork
- Comply with safety regulations and guidelines when handling inventory and driving
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including timely arrivals and courteous interactions with customers or recipients
- Work closely with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and other colleagues to ensure efficient operations
- Required to have a valid Class 3 Driving License (Manual)
- Basic understanding of English in both written and verbal
- Physically fit for packing and unpacking of goods and materials
- Possessing forklift license is advantageous
