We are looking for a Payroll Executive for one of our global shipping clients. The incumbent will be responsible to assist with payroll for the company and it's subsudaries, as well as providing support for recruitment and L&D needs. The ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years experience in payroll processing & administration.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Ensure the monthly payroll computations and ad-hoc payroll computations for new joiners and terminations are accurate and in compliance with Singapore labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll data by verifying data against supporting documents.
- Ensure employee expense claims are accurately recorded in the payroll system for payment.
- Handle monthly statutory submissions, including CPF, government paid leave, including national service leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare leave, and other relevant obligations.
- Annual income tax preparation and declarations for employees in compliance with local tax regulations. This includes foreign employees’ tax clearance
Expatriate Management
- Arrange for visa related issues (Employment Pass, Dependant’s Pass, etc.)
- Arrange expatriate’s accommodation, arrival and departure schedule
- Manage secondment agreement/ expatriate data
- Prepare documentation and gather income information for expatriate’s personal income tax
- Check and process related bills/ payments
Learning & Development
- Source relevant training/ courses and implement training plan for employee
- Arrange training application/ administration
- Arrange training subsidy/ training grant application
- Maintain and update training records
- Follow up evaluation after training/ courses
- Check and process related bills/ payments
