Procurement Executive
Location: 1 North
Duration: 1 Year Contract (renewable and possibility to convert to perm based on performance and business needs.
Salary: $2600 $2800
Our client is one of the leading Research and Technology establishments that is operating advances scientific and technology and they have maintain a strong physical presence globally. There is now an exciting opportunity for Procurement Executive and Senior Executive to join their Procurement Division.
Job Responsibilities:
- Involve in working with stakeholders on requisition, sourcing, evaluation, seeking approval for award and contract management.
- Understands basic Policies and Procedures to meet with business needs, including coordinating with various stakeholders and providing advisories to requestors to facilitate sound buying decisions through the right balance between public accountability, the prudent use of funds and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the delivery of the Procurement’s Service Level Agreements commitments.
- Involves in developing change management plans, evaluating the impact of planned change, identifying risks and mitigation plans.
- Participates in audit review findings/lapses and propose changes to governance policies and procedures; support audit reviews, investigations, and internal process improvements to resolve identified issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform demand aggregation in partnership with stakeholders using insights and trends from data analytics to leverage on organisational volume.
- Foster effective collaboration and ensure strong communication lines with key stakeholders.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, candidates with lesser experience will be considered for more junior roles (training provided).
- Good understanding of Government Procurement policies will be advantageous.
- High achieving, independent individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder persuasion and management reporting
- Resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, ability to translate data to intelligence.
