Job Description & Requirements
The supervisor will oversee all aspects of the foodcourt / coffeeshop in accordance with operation standards. He/she will implement and maintain high standards of F&B service set by the management.
Foodcourt / Coffeeshop Operations
1. In charge of opening/closing duties and ensure that all settings are completed according to standards and procedures prior to the start and closure of operations.
2. Manage junior employees and part timers and to ensure that all tasks assigned in the foodcourt / coffeeshop are carried out on time and according to instructions and standards.
3. Manage customer reservations/cancellations in accordance to departmental standards.
4. Take food and beverage orders according to customer’s requirements and preferences. Able to provide customers with a personalized dining experience.
5. Must be able to up-sell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue.
6. Manage & ensure the cleanliness of the foodcourt / coffeeshop with the help of the team.
7. Ensure necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) are taken at all times.
8. In charge of stock ordering and stock check. The supervisor must ensure that all inventory are in order and to report any discrepancy to the management
9. Need to manage customer complaints and feedback tactfully and effectively. Any complaints, incidents or other irregularities need to be reported to management
10. Able to supervise and oversee operations independently with minimal involvement from the management.
