SCOPE OVERVIEW
- Proactively monitor and maintain IT systems, including networks, servers and enterprise applications, to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Identify and diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently, and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Implement new technologies, upgrades, and patches according to established procedures and best practices.
- Document technical activities, procedures, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate effectively with other IT professionals, developers, and end-users to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Adhere and ensure IT operational controls in compliance with IT policies.
- Participate in developing strategic and tactical planning of systems and network designs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, and other IT professional certifications.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in a related IT operations role.
- Experience in Microsoft solutions, Windows and Linux Server Systems, installation and maintenance.
- Experience in managing Active Directory, Fileserver, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Management.
- Experience with VMware/Nutanix, HCI virtualization.
- Fundamental knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN networking technologies.
- Knowledge in IBM AS400 will be advantageous.
- Ability to identify, quantify and resolve performance concerns across multiple infrastructure layers.
- End user communication / User oriented communication.
- A passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills across a range of technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
