Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of security system projects, including CCTV and card access installations. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
2. Project Execution and Management:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
3. Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, track project costs, and ensure projects are completed within financial targets.
- Report and escalate any budgetary issues to management as needed.
- Approve and manage project-related expenses.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered with the highest quality standards, meeting both company and client expectations.
- Conduct regular project evaluations and implement improvements as necessary.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution.
7. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations for project team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the security systems or construction industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV and card access control.
- Proficiency in project management software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Financial management and budgeting skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to visit job sites and client locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
