Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of security integration projects, from initial design and planning to installation and commissioning. You will work closely with our clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
  • Design and engineer security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other related technologies.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning documents.
  • Oversee and manage the installation and commissioning of security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Provide technical support to clients and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project updates and status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Proficiency in design and engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
  • Excellent project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with various security technologies, including video analytics, facial recognition, and perimeter security.
  • Certifications in security system technologies, such as CCTV, access control, or intrusion detection.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NFPA, UL, and OSHA.
