Assistant Life Product Manager

Fwd Singapore Pte. Ltd.

PURPOSE

End to end product conceptualisation, implementation and launch for all life products across DTC and FA Channel.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Work with local and group teams to develop annual product plan for the company
  • Develop strong culture of product innovation through regular workshops with partners, customers, internal stakeholder and re-insurers
  • To source for reinsurers and together with pricing and underwriting teams be responsible for negotiating terms and conditions for new products
  • To lead the treaty sign off for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct initial product feasibility assessment on product ideas with stakeholders
  • Ensure all products are developed in accordance to the company’s product management framework
  • Draft product materials such as contracts, product summaries etc and get it sign off by all departments
  • Work with other teams to deliver policy documents, product specifications
  • Prepare product approval document for local as well as Group office in a timely manner.
  • Handles queries and coordinate answers for all Group office queries
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure all relevant user requirements are provided in a timeline manner
  • Ensure high quality UAT support to ensure our customers and partners have a delightful experience with the company
  • Support the marketing team to ensure that the key messages are well articulated in the brochure or any other marketing efforts
  • Do market research and comparison to ensure that our plans are competitive
  • Engage partners to secure buy in for our products
  • Prepare proposition decks and do presentation to managements as well as partners to get product buy in.
  • To conceptualised and support product related campaign / marketing initiatives.
  • To provide secretarial support during product meetings.
  • To support trainers and BDMs on product queries.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Degree-holder with 4 - 8 years of experiences in life insurance companies
  • Experience in product team is essential

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Strong knowledge about life insurance industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command of English
  • Project management experiences is an added advantage
