The job responsibilities of the successful candidate are:
· To follow up on volunteer enquiries and interviews for new volunteers
· To disseminate information and correspondence to volunteers
· To organize and administer volunteering events
· To provide oversight and coordination for volunteer events
· To be able to coordinate volunteer training programs
· To manage database
· To assist in planning and managing of recruitment and engagement programs
· To plan and provide support in appreciation and recognition events for volunteers
Qualifications & Skills Requirement:
· Diploma from reputable polytechnic preferred
· Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in events/volunteer management
· Possess strong communication skills (Chinese and English) and interpersonal skills
· Candidate has to be comfortable working in a Buddhist environment
· Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
· Able to work independently and a good team player
· May be required to work on weekends and / or after office hours
