Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s seeking a Client Portfolio Manager based in
Singapore to join the global client portfolio management team to provide investment solutions to meet each client’s individual investment objectives and considerations. The coverage of this role will be GSAM’s fixed income strategies, including multi-sector, credit and Emerging markets across APAC.
Responsibilities
- Servicing existing client base, regular client engagement and initiating and driving new business initiatives
- Drive new business opportunities, liaising with product development and sales, completion of request-for-proposal documentation in addition to providing broad support to Sales and Client Relationship Management teams
- Synthesize and communicate investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with clients on topics including asset allocation, investment guidelines, risk budgeting, and portfolio optimization
- Partner with distribution and operational teams within the organization to optimize client experience and portfolio management
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of previous work experience in Investment Management in fixed income portfolio management or product specialist
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with detailed financial or other data and understand and communicate commercial implications
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Experience in engaging with institutional or third party wealth clients in Asia
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate with broad range of stakeholders
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment collaborating across time-zones
- Willingness and ability to undertake international and domestic travel
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Bloomberg
- Bachelor’s degree required.
