Role overview:We are seeking a seasoned Creative Lead with a minimum of 6 years of experience in creative design and brand development. The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio of establishing brand visual guidelines, and a proven track record of taking a brand from concept to realization.The candidate possesses a refined sense of style and aesthetics that aligns with luxury branding, capable of setting trends rather than following them. Has a profound understanding of the target market, enabling them to anticipate and meet the desires and expectations of sophisticated consumers. He/she can provide clear direction and inspiration to the creative team, ensuring that every member contributes effectively to the brand’s visual narrative. Experience in a startup environment and leading brand creation projects from the ground up is highly preferred.Responsibilities:Artistic Direction and Brand Image Shaping:
Define and refine Colormond's artistic direction, ensuring the visual identity resonates deeply with the target audience.
Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all Colormond's platforms.
Curate and maintain a high standard of aesthetic excellence, ensuring all creative outputs consistently reflect and enhance the brand's image and values.
Customer-Centric Design Strategy:
Develop design strategies that are deeply informed by customer insights, ensuring that every visual element appeals to the preferences and lifestyles of Colormond's customers.
Lead consumer research initiatives to stay ahead of market trends and understand the evolving needs and preferences of the target audience.
Leadership in Creative Execution:
Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring that all marketing materials, product designs, and digital experiences uphold the brand's reputation for quality and innovation.
Manage and inspire a team of designers and creatives, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and meticulous attention to detail.
Integrated Marketing and Design Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop cohesive campaigns that seamlessly integrate the brand's visual identity with its marketing goals, enhancing brand awareness and customer engagement.
Ensure that promotional and campaign materials are visually striking and aligned with the brand’s strategic objectives.
Photography and Video Shoot Supervision:
Supervise shoots independently, both locally and overseas, ensuring that all visual content aligns with the brand’s standards and artistic vision.
Manage logistics, crew, and creative direction to produce compelling visual narratives that enhance brand storytelling.
Vendor and Production Management:
Collaborate with production vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes for all physical branding materials, such as packaging and promotional merchandise.
Negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts to ensure that all materials meet Colormond's standards for aesthetics and sustainability.
Qualifications:You have a passion for creativity, innovation and have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends in fashion/jewelry.
6 or more years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on branding and visual storytelling.
Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering a broad range of creative projects. Extensive experience in brand packaging design, 3D design, and other visual branding elements.
Possesses a refined sense of style and aesthetics that aligns with luxury branding, capable of setting trends rather than following them. Has a profound understanding of the target market, enabling them to anticipate and meet the desires and expectations of sophisticated consumers.
Prior experience in a startup and leading the creation of a brand from scratch is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a team towards excellence.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
