Country Manager, Singapore

Iss Global Forwarding Singapore Private Limited

Overall Role Purpose:

Responsibilities will include managing the country P&L, maximising market penetration, ensuring profitable transaction volumes and line management of the country team. His/her responsibilities focus on the financial performance of the within the country including budgets of each business division. The key role is to oversee the day to day activities of all Departments and to assure that the company assets are managed to attain maximum profitability.


Reports to Group CEO

Expected years of experience: 15-20 years.


Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications

Knowledge:

-A good understanding of ISS GF services delivery from a business perspective.

-Management skills, process & people management.

-Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities.

-Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, initiative, confidence, decision making, responsiveness and flexibility.

-Report oriented.

-Good interpersonal communication skills.

-Flexible and able to work under pressure and tight deadline.

-Excellent understanding of the ISS GF Network and internal processes including soft and hardware policies, regulations and guidelines.

-Highly developed in customer service (internal & external) and quality.

-Thorough understanding of ISO 9002, 14001 and 18001, and how to construct and maintain related policies and procedures.

-Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of human resource administration in assigned area.

Analysis: Develops team performance finding ways to get optimal results from individual efforts. Constantly analysis operation and performance data to formulate action plans to achieve set targets and continuously improve. Review service incidents arising, understands their causes and investigates solutions to minimize re-occurrence.

Planning & Organizing: Capable of planning and organizing effectively, ofdelivering directives and initiatives to direct reports and to their planning and

organizational responsibilities. Also has the ability to see the bigger picture in order to develop HR department in the right direction. Plans, develops and recommends new or revised human resource policies and programs to meet the operating needs of the company and the needs of its employees.

Decision Making: Makes timely decisions, to update, upgrade and improve the whole of human resources processes. Is aware of the latest ISS GF international HR practices and does every effort to adopt those practices in line with company’s policies and standards in coordination with Country Manager.

Results Orientation: Primary goal is in the sake of the organization and of the employees, therefore, he seeks to apply HR practices, processes and procedures in conformance with ISS GF guidelines and to accomplish his main objectives.

Communication: Develops and delivers both effective and concise written and oral communications at all levels. Expresses ideas effectively, adjusting style, tools and mode to the needs of others. Listens attentively, and summarizes or asks questions, when needed, to clarify information

Self-Management: Remains calm, objective and controlled in responding to urgent or demanding situations. Maintains effective performance under pressure. Stays positive.
