RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the CEO, this role fronts product development for MoneyOwl. You will be responsible for working with both the financial solutions team and the development team to build new financial planning technology products.
A key requirement of this role is a strong intellect that is able to pick up knowledge and skills quickly, to join the dots across strategy, business and technology product. Both analytical and innovative, you will make good judgements in the midst of conflicting priorities to constantly explore better ways of achieving greater outcomes.
You need to be able to grasp key knowledge of the financial advisory and planning domain. You should be familiar with design thinking and competitive analysis, and understand human-centred and client-centric design. You would also need to understand technology product development and execute a business initiative roll-out well.
The ideal candidate would be highly collaborative as well as a strong communicator and presenter, who is be able to work with different personalities and manage stakeholders. A can do attitude and growth mindset, willingness to roll up your sleeves and stretch yourself beyond the comfort zone is critical
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product delivery from concept to launch within the financial planning domain.
- Perform customer research, competitive analysis and develop customer-focused financial planning products and go to market strategy.
- Ensure alignment with business needs and drive prioritisation with the CEO
- Perform due diligence for new product origination, drive product innovations and solutioning processes to achieve improvements across various workflows, including leading the product design process.
- Coordinate and conduct product related communication/ trainings to various platforms including both internal and external clients.
- Collaborate closely with agile development teams, product design and financial planning teams.
- Degree in any discipline.
- 3-7 years experience working in an agile/scrum environment with familiarity with user story creation, prioritisation and backlog refinement with development team.
- Experience in building, launching and maintaining digital financial products will be a plus.
