Main responsibilities

1. Managing and execution of marketing and communications for Singapore and region Asia Pacific

2.Managing Public Relations and Advertising for the company in the region

3. Manage events marketing for press and retailers

- General manage and support in terms of all marketing related inquiries in regional office

- Support of the other departments when needed and any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities & support inter-department activities

- Traveling for work when required


1: Marketing and Communications :

Media management & strategies, press release/advertorial pre review for confirmation by General Manager.

- Provide strategic perspective and recommendations of qualitative advertising/creative buy executions.

- Build strong media relations & pitch to press to keep brand awareness top of mind.

- Garner qualitative editorial support/photo shoots via engagement at different level across different outreach plans.

- Have strong understanding of print, digital/online platform, reach, distribution and keep abreast of the fast-evolving media landscape.

- Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date media contact list for email blast/hard copy dissemination, local and international press event engagements, special cover story, exclusives.

- Monitoring of competitors activities - PR coverage, special advertising, events significant development for monthly managers meeting.

- Plan editions annual order based on marketing plans.

- Manage and monitor editions consumption and inventory are within budgeted levels.

- Delivery of Company's magazines to the store.

- Prepare and arrange Network DM, Website, Outdoor banner/light box. - Manage hording visual request for new POS opening/renovation.

- Order and distribution of corporate collaterals to retailers/PCS.

- Manage commitment/spend of advertising and events are within the budgeted levels.

- Prepare annual budget plan for marketing and communication department

- Monthly budget and communication update report to Sales and Marketing Director and General Manage


2: PR and Advertising :

- Co-op and Corporate Media planning and budgeting, rationalising optimal reach and spend.

- Coordinate with local advertising & overseas agency for visual arrangement.

- Suggest tactical advertising/advertorials to increase brand awareness and enhance brand - image as well as editorial performance management.

- Collaborate with retail partners on co-op media buys and executions.

- Analysis of media investment, editorial coverage across all media platforms.

- Work with the SA, retailers, trade marketing on creative advertising executions of new POS opening and institutional exhibitions/events.

- Manage and monitor budget for advertising are within budgeted levels


3: Event marketing

- Conceptualise and implement PR & retailers’ events. - Work with Trade Marketing team for PR aspect of institutional events. - Prepare press release/advertising materials, publications, invitations of press, retailer and institutional events.

- Manage and planning of Institutional, high profile customer events

- Monitoring the day to day interaction in institutional relationships in the arts, culture & heritage

- Manage and monitor events budget are within budgeted levels.

- Post event reporting to Sales and Marketing Director, General Manager and Bulletin Board.


Requirements:

· Master’s degree in marketing and/or Business Administration or related discipline.

· At least 10 years of relevant marketing and sales experience in a multinational company.

· At least 3 years of experience leading a team / supervisory

· Experience in a regional office overseeing the Asia Pacific / South East Asia region is preferred.

· Experience in the luxury / high end retail or hospitality such as watches, fashion, automotive or 6-star hotels; is a must

· Experience in working with vendors, agencies, members of media and business owners

· Experience with budget management and accounting

· Excellent command of written communication

· Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Office products

· Ability to analyze numbers

· Ability to prepare presentations
