Our client is one of the largest group in Singapore seeking for qualified and enthusiastic Infant Care Teacher to join their warm and welcoming childcare center.
In this rewarding role, you will play a vital role in fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of infants in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a Safe and Nurturing Environment:
- Create a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment for infants.
- Ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of each child through attentive care.
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Nurture Early Development:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Observe and document each child's progress, maintaining detailed records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and needs.
- Build Relationships:
- Develop trusting and nurturing relationships with each infant.
- Foster positive interactions among children, promoting social skills development.
- Collaborate effectively with other teachers and childcare staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and other daily routines.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in similar experience diploma/certificate in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with infants.
- Strong understanding of child development milestones.
- Proven ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with infants.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred).
