We are now looking for a Product Manager who share in our purpose to drive the design and features road map of our proprietary learning platform, ZilLearn.
Working under the supervision of the Product Manager Lead, and collaborating with a team comprising business development and solutions consultants, UI/UX designers and software engineers, you are responsible for innovating and improving ZilLearn to meet the teaching and learning needs of our platform users.
On a given work week, you will:
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, UX, research, and other partner teams to create discovery experiences that are meaningful and delightful to consumers.
- Drive consumer engagement and gain market share through product optimization by leveraging user centric design.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on user feedback, business objectives, and market trends.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed product requirements, ensuring clear and actionable specifications.
- Maintain a product backlog and continually refine it based on changing priorities and user needs.
- Oversee the product development process, ensuring that features are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct sprint planning and daily stand-ups to keep development teams on track.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product management.
- Experience in bringing at least one product from conception to launch and experience working cross-functionally with Engineers, Designers and Researchers.
- Experience in managing consumer-facing applications across digital platforms such as native mobile apps, responsive web, interactive platforms.
- Strong intuition on what constitutes a good design.
- Clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics.
- Experience dealing with trade-offs between quality, diversity and other topline metrics.
- Experience in working with engineering teams and in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Self-starter with relentless curiosity and creativity in pursuit of growth.
- A critical thinker and problem solver.
- Detailed, organised and display professionalism under pressure.
- Team player and able to work in cross functional and matrix teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
