The Research Technician (Down Stream Process) is responsible for assisting the Senior Scientist in the development and purification processes of biomolecules, including extraction, isolation, and drying techniques.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for process development-purification of biomolecules
- Designing and execution of experiments
- Online search and understanding of scientific literature
- Writing and maintaining lab experimental data
- Maintaining lab safety and involvement in implementation of lab safety measures
Qualifications
- Diploma in Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, related courses
- Basic knowledge in extraction and biomolecule isolation
- Knowledge and understanding of chromatography techniques
- Familiarity with the drying technics of biomolecules
- Data interpretation and presentation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised and effective team player
