Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)
· Perform assembly work per ISO released work instructions
Job Description:
1. Assembly
· Assemble mechanical and electrical from components level to module level, in accordance to Work Instruction or as per training provided.
· Ensure product assembled meets customer specifications & expectations
· Perform assembly work consistently per targeted cycle time
· Assist in material handling and kitting, whenever required
2. Testing, Recording and Evaluation
· Perform testing of assembled module by following the Work Instruction given
· Records data required for statistical process control, production related reports and inventory management
· Improve any process and tooling to achieve better quality and meet the target production outputs.
· Report to immediate supervisor for non-conformity, if any
3. Workplace Practices and Discipline
· Maintain and observe workplace safety practices, cleanliness and tidiness.
· Conduct simple regular tooling daily checks and audit
· Maintain tools, fixtures and equipment for production use. Report any wear and tear to supervisor
4. Others
· Willing to work extra hours or on weekends or shifts, if required
· Perform other or additional duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent Minimum 2 years of working experience and technical assembly work.
· Experience and knowledge in the field of contract manufacturing is preferred.
· O level with relevant experience are welcome to apply
· Diploma without relevant experience are welcome
· Honest, good attitude and teamwork
· Quick learner with good quality mindset and can-do attitude.
· Hands-on skill in mechanical and/ or electrical assembly
