Site Manager oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team. The site manager’s responsibilities includes ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance and training new construction employees. Site Manager should be detail oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. Site Manager should be able to interpret building plans and drawings as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. And this job need the candidate do site construction work personally if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting construction sites(several locations) everyday to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and quality issues.
- Supervising and instructing the site workers to carry out work.
- Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and safety protocol.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
- Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety,budget and maincon's requirement.
- Liase with maincontrator, architecture and other related parties to solve site issues
- interprete the contraction drawing to detail site working plan, make sure work done according to design requirements and all the relavant codes and regulations
- Do detail setting out personaly for plastering/tile laying/brick wall laying, then worker can work following the setting out
- Do the rectify work personaly for plastering/tile laying/brick wall laying to make sure work can handover to owner/maincon as required
- Do measurement of the site work and order material without unacceptable wastage accordingly
Requirements:
- Certificate in construction related fields.
- Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor.
- Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- The ability to interpret drawings. Could do the setting out on site base on the construction drawing.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Able to communicate in billligual
- Ready to shift between different sites in timely manner
- This position need work on Sunday and public holiday if needed.
- This position need do night shift
