The Head of Business Development - SEA & AU would be responsible to develop the company’s business alongside with the Managing Director throughout the regions. He/ She will be playing a critical role in driving sales, fostering valuable partnerships, and shaping high-impact business strategies.
WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH...
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve international sales & volume targets in accordance with the Company’s strategic plan.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and other events to build relationships
- Conduct in-depth market research to qualify developing business opportunities and assesses the viability of potential future proposals, business partnerships and/or project opportunities.
- Conduct P&L analysis and implement numerical landing strategies to ensure the financial success and sustainability of strategic projects.
- Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven business plans for weekly events for both channels, offline and online including P&L, review stock list to optimize sales
- Leverage industry contacts for strategic intelligence and build a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities to drive business growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brand inquiries, needs, and requests, ensuring proactive and efficient communication.
- Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with brand partners to drive collaboration and mutual success.
- Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, operations, and e-commerce, to ensure seamless execution of events and initiatives.
- Analyze sales data to derive insights, preparing comprehensive sales recaps with outcomes, feedback, and strategic recommendations for future collaborations.
- Expand OTL brand exposure by represent OTL mission which is to Turn Inventory to Opportunity and notoriety by building strong and long-term relationships with brand partners
- Participates in regular communications with senior management to explore and maximize revenue opportunities company wide
- Any other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
WHAT IT TAKES…
- Min Degree holder in Marketing, Business or equivalent
- At least 6-8 years of working experience is preferred
- Proven track record in business development, strong network of C-, SVP- and VP-level executives, ideally with retail industry
- Experience in Fashion / Cosmetics / FMCG / Department Store would be an advantage
- Excellent negotiation skills and eager to deliver results
- Target driven and figure-oriented
- Strategic thinking and enthusiastic problem solver, autonomous
- Must be a self-starter, organized, clear communication and good teamwork mindset
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
