* Develop engineering plans for construction, renovation, and repairs,demolition works
* Prepare estimates, as well as on-site visit reports and project progress reports
* Review and analyze plans, specifications, and estimates submitted by contractors
* Coordinate and manage project schedules and budgets
*Monitor site operations and determine the work progress
*Track job progress, schedules, budgets, and stafng
Site engineers typically split their time between ofces and jobsites, using standard ofce software equipment in addition to the following:
Computer-aided drafting (CAD) software (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
