Job Description: Dental Clinic Assistant cum Receptionist (Dual Role)
Location: Jurong East
Duties & Responsibilities
Front Desk
- Attend to phones/email/WhatsApp/walk-in enquiries
- Schedule appointments and patient registration
- Discharge patients, dispense medicine as prescribed by the dentist & collect payment
- Liaise with dental labs for collection and receipt of lab cases
- Maintain record of received supplies into clinic inventory system
- Maintain record of Dental Insurance/CHAS/Medisave attendance and submit claims upon discharging patients accurately
- Any minor adhoc admin tasks, when necessary
Dental Assisting
- Prepare treatment room, instruments, equipment and materials required for dental procedures
- Assist dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain infection control and sterilisation standards at all times
- Casting of dental models for lab work
- Perform general housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the clinic
- Any minor adhoc tasks, when necessary e.g. stock take, etc
Requirements
- Female candidate preferred to chaperone male dentist
- Ability to speak & write in Mandarin dialect is preferred due to the high volume of Mandarin dialect inquiries on a daily basis.
- Candidates should ideally possess minimum GCE ‘N’/’O’ Levels or equivalent
- Good communication, interpersonal skills & a team player
- Willing to perform rotating shift work and commit to one weekend (5-6 days work week, 44 hrs/week)
- No experience required as on the job training will be provided
- IT literacy preferred

Remuneration
