Role:
The Field Service Technician is a hands-on team player who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient deployment, operation, maintenance, and repair of our Cooling Systems at multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping our site operations running smoothly through providing high quality technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a strong customer relationship while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires on-site support and a willingness to tackle various tasks, including maintenance, repair, and manual labour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, installations and repairs on a range of mechanical, electrical systems within the facilities (Electrical, pump systems, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identify root cause and implement solutions.
- Assist with electrical works such as resetting circuit breaker/ replace fuse etc.
- Assist infrastructure team to fill/drain cooling systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment maintenance, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
- Assist site team as required.
Skill and Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent for any trade qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar hands-on role with equipment maintenance and repair.
- Good problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as this position is part of a 24/7 stand-by roster.
- Class 3 driver’s license would be a plus.
- Electrical license would be a plus.
