The Opportunity
- This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the leading Insurance MNCs
- It is an opportunity for a Competency Development Officer to join the team and support the company in ensuring its Sales workforce meet regulatory Training & Competency requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates extraordinary education qualification of potential insurance/financial advisors
- Monitors the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of the whole sales force to ensure that the annual CPD requirement is met
- Preparation of monthly CPD report to track CPD hours
- Tracks and monitors compulsory training
- Implementation of the Annual Competency Assessment Exercise
- Conducts Regular Competency Reviews to ensure that the organisation meet the stipulated T&C standards (i.e. quality of supervision, coaching and T&C documentation, and, ability to meet continuous professional development requirement)
- Validates qualitative criteria for promotion and contract maintenance of members of the sales workforce
- Conduct close supervision on representatives identified as needing enhanced due diligence supervision and to do follow up coaching if discrepancy areas identified
- Reviews and revises the Fact Find document in accordance to industry requirement
Requirements
- Minimally Diploma holder
- Prior exposure to Competencies standards and Compliance in the Life Insurance industry or experience in Training with focus on Fact Find/Sales Advisory Process or has done life insurance sales
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
