- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of the factory's IT infrastructure including servers, networks (LAN, WAN, VPN and Wireless), other hardware systems including PCs, and software systems.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain enterprise systems, databases, and applications critical to manufacturing operations (ERP, MES & PLC), to ensure such systems are always available, secure and perform as needed. Coordinate software updates, patches and upgrades.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the factory's IT systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Data Management and Backup: Ensure data integrity, availability and security through effective data management practices, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and IT-related troubleshooting help to all employees and contractors. Ensure prompt resolution of IT problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to successful completion, within given timelines, budgets and resources.
- IT Strategy, Planning & Execution: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, future needs and scalability requirements. Manage IT budget and vendor relationships through appropriate cost and contract management, respectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT systems and practices comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and data protection laws. Maintain documentation(including creation and maintenance of operation mannuals) and conduct audits to verify compliance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers and support staff. Provide training and mentorship to develop capabilities and innovation in IT and do performance evaluations.
