- Conduct design review of the design submission by the Contractor to ensure design compliance and constructability. A duly endorsed design review report shall be submitted to SDC.
- Review, verify and accept all design and technical submissions, including construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, manual, drawings and design calculation of temporary works, equipment, duration, frequency, alert and stop work levels for safe execution of the construction works, etc. submitted by the Contractor.
- Prepare response to any design, technical, construction or contractual queries from Contractor and obtain approval from SDC prior to issuance of the response.
- Assist SDC in the engagement and the liaison of any other specialists consultants / contractor required by the authorities, such as Accredited Checker and Accredited Checker (Geo) services, Registered Inspectors, instrumentation and monitoring specialist contractor, etc.
- Review suitability of the site supervisory team proposed by the Contractor and make recommendations to SDC.
Requirements:
- RTO Need to registered with BCA and possess at least 5 years relevant experience in supervision of underground construction works such as pipe jacking or tunneling, to support the SO for construction supervision purposes.
