Senior Backend Development Engineer
Job Description:
- Collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Optimizing backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implementing security measures to protect sensitive user and application data.
- Conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers to help them grow their skills and expertise.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a backend development engineer, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, is a plus.
