The role of the Lead Electrical Engineer is a key role in the engineering management team, being responsible for the reviewing and coordination of Electrical Engineering and Design team assigned to the project.
RESPONSBILITIES
- Handle Electrical matters by interfacing with Project Management, Refinery Electrical Department, Vendors and contractors
- Evaluate the optimum electrical system.
- Coordinate Chevron SME for preparation of Project Standards.
- Ensure Project Requirement Specification meet local and international codes and standards and Project Standards.
- Coordinate work with other discipline such as rotary machinery, building etc.
- Evaluate BM/BQ of Electrical for Cost Estimate as well as equipment and material cost.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 20 years' experience in electrical engineering design
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Higher
- Extensive knowledge of plant electrical receiving and distribution system. Experience in running ETAP.
- Project Design experience especially for onshore petrochemical / refining facilities for Major Capital Projects
- In depth knowledge of design requirements for onshore petrochemical project and brownfield assessment
- Familiarity on design requirements on modules will be advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate design activities
- Good working knowledge on FEED and Detail Design requirements
- Good coordination, Technical Writing and communication skill.
