Job Description:
MFG Assistant has the responsibility to provide admin support on shop packet printing and support TPI coordination for all pre-shipment related arrangement. MFG Assistant will also be converting the planned orders to purchase requisitions within the opening period, as well as depleting global slow-moving inventory (SMI) whenever possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Printing shop packets and validating the revisions of the documents in the shop packets before issuing to shop floor.
- Monitor and track pre-shipment activities with Planners.
- Send out NFI (Notification for Inspection) form to the appointed TPI agency.
- Manage and inform TPI on changes of the TPI schedule upon received confirmation from requestors.
- Co-ordinate with Warehouse, Planning and TPI on pre-shipment capacity.
- Follow up with planner on packing list creation and compiling with MDR (manufacturing data records) as required by TPI.
- Forwarding of release notes to QA and Traffic after receipt from TPI.
- Attend PIM and record special request by project upon request.
- Render support when required on administration for planning department.
- Convert planned order to purchase requisitions when there is new requirement,
- Deplete global excess inventory as per company's inventory policy.
- Responsible in managing short end raw inventory.
- Finding potential usage through substitution and allocating short ends through PIR setting.
- Work with finance to perform cost roll for dummy PO.
- Coordinate with order planner, incoming QC and QA's request for incoming inspection.
- Request IE to create routing for incoming inspection by TPI
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in in Supply Chain, Engineering or Manufacturing
- Experience in manufacturing environment or related field
- Strong excel skills.
- Strong team player and able to work well with all functions.
- Able to adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Knowledge in SAP will be be a plus
