The Trapeze Group is a fitness / wellness / health company founded in Singapore. We are building a portfolio of brands that help people find and maintain wellbeing in a playful, innovative, and holistic way.
With that in mind, we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Lead to help The Trapeze Group grow. This candidate should be able to provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals and will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies. The Marketing Lead will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
Job Scope
- Oversee concept development, driving brand awareness and positioning.
- Develop and execute marketing strategy for concept launches and ongoing marketing operations, including digital marketing (SEO, SEM, advertising), events, partnerships, customer experience, and sales channels.
- Manage relationships and negotiate with external parties including creative agencies, public relations firms, and technology vendors.
- Foster strong relationships with brand partners for collaborations, cross-promotions etc.
- Synthesize operational data, market research, and consumer surveys in order to make recommendations on (a) how to continuously improve the customer, employee and other stakeholder experience, (b) how to maximize the value of our existing brands, and (c) which new market segments to enter given competitive dynamics and future trends.
- Collaborate with operations, sales teams to ensure that customer experience and in-venue touchpoints are consistently on brand.
- Oversee and collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing efforts
- Support sales and lead generation efforts, alongside Business Development and Sales Manager and make recommendations for promotions
- Manage and mentor the marketing team
Requirements
- Deep understanding of and interest in fitness / wellness / health from both the consumer and business perspective.
- More than 5 years of experience in marketing / advertising, especially at leading agencies and / or fitness / wellness / health / hospitality companies.
- Strategic thinker who is comfortable with being both analytical (crunching numbers and synthesizing information) and creative (recognizing, giving feedback on, and where appropriate creating copy, images, colors, and other brand elements that resonate with our target audience).
- Proactive, open, and flexible mindset and ability to work in a dynamic startup environment where we value constant iteration and improvement through constructive feedback.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and confidence in interacting with senior external stakeholders.
- High degree of conscientiousness and track record of keeping commitments and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to lead, inspire and manage the marketing team
- Ability to understand both the big picture and small details as well the good judgment to know when each is important.
