Job Description
- Tender Strategy and Documentation: Partner with user departments to formulate tender strategies and transform these into detailed tender documents with precise specifications that meet business needs.
- Contract Creation: Develop thorough contract documents that define suppliers' duties and liabilities while ensuring the company's interests are safeguarded.
- Tender Analysis and Supplier Negotiation: Evaluate tender responses and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value propositions for the organization.
- Post-Contract Management: Collaborate with internal teams to manage post-contract activities, ensuring suppliers adhere to their commitments and addressing any risks that may emerge during the contract period.
- Sustainable Procurement Initiatives: Implement sustainable procurement frameworks with suppliers, aligning with the company's sustainability objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualifications and Experience: Must hold a degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Skills and Knowledge: Should possess strong strategic sourcing, tendering, contract management, negotiation, and governance skills. Familiarity with e-procurement software such as Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or Zycus is preferred.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Must exhibit excellent communication and persuasive abilities, with proven skills in contract negotiation and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support business goals.
- Innovation and Collaboration: Needs to be resourceful and motivated, with a talent for driving innovation and championing change. Should work well in collaborative settings to achieve successful outcomes.
