Job Duties:
- In charge of activities related to Information & Communications Technology (ICT) for both Singapore and APAC region.
- In charge of assignments and initiatives critical to both business and IT objectives, such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and optimal practices as part of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Managing IT budget, assets (hardware/software/services), and communications with vendor.
- In charge of IT Teams
- Establish IT strategies, roadmaps, architectures, and processes for the organization spanning Singapore and the APAC region.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to assess business requirements and departmental needs, devising IT solutions accordingly.
- Continuously evaluate processes, technologies (software/system/network), and vendors to identify areas for enhancement.
- Enhance and execute disaster recovery plans for the organization's ICT systems, including backup and restore procedures.
- Conduct routine system audits and evaluations of network/data security, generating reports for senior management.
- Resolve issues and offer technical support as necessary.
- Research and assess emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience working in IT management and operational.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- Experienced in commodities trading and Professional certifications like PMP, ITIL, MCSA, and MCSE are advantageous.
- Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision, self-motivated, punctual, able to meet deadlines, organized, adept at multitasking, collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn and take on additional tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Resourceful, possessing strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a commitment to follow-through.
- Demonstrates good project management abilities, adept at prioritization, and experienced in leading and managing large-scale projects in the APAC region.
- Proficient in LAN/WAN/Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), servers/databases, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance monitoring, and various products including Windows/Linux/Cisco/FortiGate/Symantec/Microsoft 365/SAP.
