We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team in the retail industry. The HR Executive will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR services, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, leave management, insurance administration, office administration, and employee engagement, which encompasses event management for activities such as the annual Dinner & Dance (D&D) and other company events. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment within a fast-paced retail setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in full recruitment cycle such as posting of job advertisements, shortlisting and preparation of offer etc
- Perform monthly payroll processing
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of employee database & HR systems
- Responsible for all HR administrative duties and daily HR operations
- Handles employees’ onboarding and offboarding arrangements
- Administer all HR policies & procedures
- Responsible for all work pass matters such as applications, renewals and cancellations
- Purchase and renewal of company’s insurance
- Responsible for overall office management
- And any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRP-CA) is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, experience in the retail industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g. Payboy) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
