Job Description:
- Purchase and arrange supply of spares & stores for vessels in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Process Land Goods Advise as required
- Monitor vessel movements / store schedule / warehouse receipts
- Arrange spares & stores in a timely, cost efficient and scheduled manner
- Involvement with Dry Dock ordering of spares & services
- Maintain the system record properly
- Scrutinize vendor invoices and make timely process for payment
- Manage vendor/supplier list
- Provide support to fleet teams
- Attend meetings as required
- Assist other Purchasing Officer & Purchasing Manager as required
- Keep all concerned parties advised on status wherever necessary
Job Requirement
- Diploma or above is required.
- 2 years of experience in a similar function is preferred.
- Knowledge in logistics/technical is preferred.
- Experience in Purchasing/Ship Management is an added advantage.
- Good command of written & spoken English.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
- Time management skills
- Commitment anddedication
- Team player
- Organized
- Immediately available is highly preferred.
