Maintenance Engineer

Your new company
Our client is one of the leading providers of end-to-end e-waste solutions in Asia. They offer a wide range of products and services, including air management systems, temperature control equipment, and vacuum equipment. They are undergoing expansion in recent years and are now looking to expand their headcount with a Maintenance Engineer.

Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;

· Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and failure analysis to identify the causes of equipment or machinery failure.

· Lead and supervise technicians, ensuring that daily, periodic, and shutdown maintenance tasks are carried out safely, promptly, and efficiently.

· Provide guidance and training to supervisors and technicians to enhance their skills and expertise in the process and equipment.

· Offer technical expertise for operational processes, implementing technical solutions to improve equipment uptime and asset utilization, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.

· Undertake technical investigations into production equipment issues, evaluate the findings, prepare analytical reports, and propose solutions to enhance equipment reliability.

· Develop, review, and implement Risk Assessments for all mechanical and electrical work activities.

· Support the introduction of new recycling processes/products and assist in setting up new facilities and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Manage fixed assets and inventory movement and oversee the purchase requests and delivery of parts.

· Develop, review, and implement maintenance procedures for production equipment to enhance maintenance methodologies.

What you'll need to succeed

· Possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the maintenance of mechanical machinery and facilities is required.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a must.

· Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential.

· Work schedule is 5.5 days per week.
