Job Responsibilities:
- Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control
- Prepare material requisition lists for job requirements
- Plan and design Electrical Switchboards, Consoles and Control Panels according to customer’s requirements and company standards
- Prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, final drawings / documents, short circuit calculation, instruction manuals as required for submission to clients and shopfloor production
- Coordinate with clients and consultants on the technical requirements. Attend technical discussions with clients and consultants when required
- Check and follow up on design and shop drawings with production departments
- Provide technical backup for securing of contracts and assist other departments on technical matters
- Lead, guide and supervise subordinates – check and approve design drawings and documents produced by subordinate staff
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned by the superiors
Requirements:
- Diploma and/or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering or equivalent
