Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day transactional buying activities to ensure goods and services meet its standard, quality and pricing while ensuring compliance to purchasing policy.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, expediting where necessary and performing goods receipt in system.
- Source and liaise with local & overseas suppliers conducting TCO evaluation process in terms of quality, service, price competitiveness and others.
- Managing RFQ/RFP/Tender processes, participate in the evaluation of bids, including negotiation and evaluation of supplier quotes.
- Respond to stakeholders and/or supplier pertaining to queries on order, changes, or cancellations.
- Analyze inventory trends and review monthly orders and consumption.
- Prepare of monthly reports. Provide Management with data and reports related to purchasing activities as and when required.
- Ensure proper recording and retention of documents for auditing, according to company’s ISO standard and guidelines.
- Assist in department towards digitalization/ transformation projects.
- All other adhoc duties as required.
