Business Grants Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and Identification:Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
    Stay updated with new and existing grant opportunities relevant to various industries.
  2. Client Consultation:Meet with clients to understand their business goals, funding needs, and eligibility for various grants.
    Provide expert advice on the best grant opportunities that align with the client's objectives.
  3. Grant Proposal Writing:Write and develop high-quality grant proposals, ensuring all application requirements are met.
    Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for grant applications.
  4. Project Management:Manage the entire grant application process from start to finish, ensuring timely submission of proposals.
    Track and report on the progress of submitted applications and follow up with funding agencies as needed.
  5. Relationship Management:Develop and maintain relationships with funding bodies, industry contacts, and stakeholders.
    Represent clients in communications with grant providers and attend relevant networking events and workshops.
  6. Training and Support:Provide training and support to clients on how to navigate the grant application process.
    Offer post-award support, including compliance reporting and monitoring grant-funded projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in grant writing and consulting.
    Proven track record of securing grants for businesses or non-profits.
  • Skills:Exceptional research and analytical skills.
    Excellent writing and editing abilities.
    Strong organizational and project management skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attributes:Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    High level of integrity and commitment to client success.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to meet with clients or attend events.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to meet deadlines.

Compensation:

  • This is a full commission-based role, with earnings ranging from $600 to $20,000 per successful deal.
