Responsibilities of Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
- They should maintain the Proper disposal of construction waste/ marine clay
- They Should control Noise, air and water pollution
- They must watch Food hygiene in on-site canteens (if any)
- They Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the workers on the construction site
- They investigate environmental issues at the workplaces
- They should take care of the Proper maintenance of septic tank(s)/ holding tank(s), chemical/ portable toilet(s), and other sanitary facilities; and any other environmental health matters.
- They Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities
- Their main role is maintaining good environmental health standards among the workers and workplace
