Job Description:
- Designing and developing advanced frontend features for the Shopee app, catering to millions of users
- Providing innovative ideas and technical solutions throughout the feature development cycle
- Translating UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality code
- Gaining a deep understanding of the product, continuously optimizing for performance, identifying and resolving issues, and enhancing stability and user experience
- Collaborating with fellow developers to improve and innovate on our internal platform, shared components, libraries, and development toolchain
- Actively participating in regular internal technology sharing sessions and regional tech events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in mobile app development
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Strong expertise in React and/or React Native (preferred)
- Familiarity with modern frontend development toolchain, including NPM, Babel, ESLint, Flow, Jest, etc. (preferred)
- Deep understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures
- Passionate about coding, innovation, and solving complex problems
- Enthusiasm for building user-facing features and a keen eye for UI/UX
- Excellent work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills
