Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that empower our organization with actionable insights. Your expertise in Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, data modeling, SQL, and paginated reports will be crucial in transforming data into meaningful information.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to support business needs.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Create and manage SSAS cubes and data models to support analytical needs.
- Design and implement efficient data models and structures to support BI solutions.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Develop and manage paginated reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI solutions.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Stay current with the latest BI technologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI for report and dashboard development.
- Strong experience with SSIS for ETL processes.
- Proficient in SSAS for cube development and data modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills for query writing and data manipulation.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for paginated reports.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certification.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Knowledge of DAX and MDX for advanced calculations in Power BI and SSAS.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
