This contract-based AV Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual (AV) systems. To ensure all AV components are functioning properly for events, presentations, and meetings.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on AV equipment and systems to ensure reliability and performance. Diagnose and resolve issues as they arise.
- Perform system service upgrades, manage issues, troubleshoot incidents, and identify root causes.
- Maintain accurate records of AV equipment usage, issues, and repairs.
- Test various types of cables and products before, during, and after installation. Oversee rack assembly and equipment installation, as well as onsite testing and commissioning of completed projects.ts.
- Research, design, and implement audio processing modules. Create diagrams for audio, video, and control systems, and participate in the construction of engineering designs.
- Be familiar with AV control systems and software, and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
