The Company

Our client is an European-based manufacturer with more than 100 years of successful company history. Its technical solutions and applications serve across various industries such as automotive, electronics sector (e.g. smartphones, tablets), building supply and pharmaceuticals. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Controlling Manager (independent contributor) to join their regional APAC office in Singapore.


The Role

This is a newly created role to assist the Director, Regional Controlling to drive regional strategy and regional projects in capacity as Regional Project Management Office (PMO). You shall work closely with Regional Management Group (i.e. Heads of Departments) and Regional BUs of respective countries in facilitating robust discussions and alignment amongts relevant stakeholders pertaining to strategic initiatives and financial outlook.


In addition to the above, you shall be the go-to person for all controlling and financial matters of Regional HQ entity and Regional IT function. You shall be involved in reporting of margin variance analysis and price management at regional level, and support as regional business consultant for CO module (SAP).


Your Profile

  • A well-recognized degree in accountancy/finance/buinsess with professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant, or equivalent.
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience and proven track record in progressive MNC. Asia Pacific and regional HQ experience is a MUST.
  • Experience in project management (i.e. system roll-out or strategic initiatives) is highly preferred.
  • SAP knowledge (preferably with CO module exposure).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Possess critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Exhibit commercial and business acumen.
  • Possess good level of critical thinking and exhibit the ability to cut through complexity to identify key issue(s) to tackle.
  • Hands on, willing to deal with details and is meticulous.
  • Resourceful and work independently; ability to work in matrix structure.
  • Ability to work with tight timelines and challenges.
  • Communication, interpersonal skills and be a strong business partner for internal stakeholders.
  • Team player.
  • Positive attitude with drive.
  • Willingness to travel (mainly Asia countries).
