Responsibilites:
- Oversee all aspects of lift maintenance operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all lifts under Town Council.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for lift systems, including preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs.
- Manage a team of lift technicians and maintenance staff, providing leadership, training, and supervision to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of lift systems to identify potential issues or hazards, and take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Attend to lift breakdowns, troubleshoot equipment faults, and implement preventive and corrective actions as needed.
- Supervise contractors when required for upgrades or improvement projects.
- Perform any additional duties related to lift maintenance and operations as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering equivalent
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering industry
- Good organizational, reporting and supervisory skills are essential
- Ability to work independently
