We are assiting one of our MN clients to lookout for 5 to 7 years of experience Cloud Architect (Contract)
You are working with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful, modern, cloud applications,becoming a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package approaches, best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
1. Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
2. Advocate for customers needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
3 Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud native application development solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3 years of experience project managing and/or delivering technical solutions.
3. Advanced understanding of the software supply chain in an enterprise environment (software engineering, testing, CI/CD) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in containerized environments.
4. Ability to speak and write in English fluently. Local regional language proficiency is a requirement.
5. Experience with highly available, scalable applications and distributed systems.
6. 7 years of experience demonstrating technical client service.
7. Experience with software languages (Java, Go, JavaScript, Python, etc.) and building / architecting DevOps pipelines and familiarity with associated tools.
8. Experience with detailed network, security, and system design in the deployment of virtual machines and containerized applications.
9. Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
10. Demonstrate excellent communication, written, presentation and problem solving skills.
11. Hold a cloud certification. Qualifications (Required):
12. Application Architecture - Microservices backend experience, front-end exposure
13. Software Engineering - Full Stack developer exposure
14. Database skills - from the developer perspective
14. Containerization - Docker, K8s, GKE, Kubernetes networking, Istio service mesh.
14. Infra as Code - Terraform
15. CICD - Common tooling and patterns
15. Cloud-Native Design Patterns - Understanding patterns that are specific to cloud-based application refactoring and modernization.
16. API Management - Being well-versed in API gateways, design, security, and monitoring, since APIs are important in app modernization.
16. Observability - common approaches for metrics and logging; this could be scoped to containerization.
