Lead Merchandiser (Footwear)
- Working Timing: 5.5 Days work week
Monday - Friday [ 9am - 6pm ]
Alternative Saturday [ 9am - 1pm ] - Salary: $3,000 - $4,000

Roles & Responsibilities
One of the leading sports goods companies of Asia, involved in wholesale & distribution of branded sports equipment, accessories, footwear & apparel. The company has offices in several countries of Asia with headquarters at Singapore. The company is looking for a dynamic person to take up the position of Merchandiser (Footwear) at our Singapore office.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Product Line Planning: develop merchandising strategies that align with brand and business objectives.
- Assortment Management: Create and manage product assortments, ensuring a balanced and compelling range of footwear offerings.
- Sales Forecasting: Analyse sales data and market trends to forecast product demand and optimise inventory levels.
- Visual Merchandising: Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation in retail environments.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure footwear aesthetics match the market trends
- Product Launches: Coordinate and support product launches, ensuring timely delivery and effective marketing support.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance and provide actionable insights to improve future assortments and merchandising strategies.
- Consumer Engagement: Engage with sales teams and consumers to gather feedback and insights, helping to inform product development and marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the footwear or fashion industry.
- Ability to interpret sales data and market research to make informed decisions.
- Market Insight: Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity in the footwear industry.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
