Manager/Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Project Management
Our esteemed client seeking an individual to spearhead Supply Chain Department, developing and driving the overall planning, implementation, control and completion of the supply chain network design related projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and management of the project, including its scope, deliverables, execution, resource allocation, budget, schedule, and other associated work streams and functions.
- Alignment with overall corporate and business group strategy, partner and collaborate with the Supply Chain Business Insights team to build metrics, dashboards, reporting project results, and track actual cost savings after deployment.
- Determine the needs of the project, identify the important stakeholders, address the main issues of the stakeholders, and create an efficient communication plan for every project.
- Throughout the course of the project, establish and maintain relationships and manage expectations with cross-functional stakeholders at the mid- to senior-management level.
- To facilitate overall project progress monitoring, provide and deliver status reports on a regular basis to project stakeholders and sponsor.
- Create and oversee the change management plan, which includes answering any questions or concerns expressed by project stakeholders and providing training as needed.
- Enforcing project governance, guaranteeing clear and timely communication to project sponsors and stakeholders on any developing risks/dependencies and accompanying mitigation measures, and integrating quality into all elements of the project to ensure its successful delivery.
- Arrange for financial tracking and reporting, project implementation costing, and resource allocation to the appropriate project stakeholders within budget.
Job Requirements
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or industrial engineering, or a similar field.
- 8 years Project Management experience in managing supply chain networks, optimizing them, and leading transformative projects
- Preferred professional certifications in supply chain management (e.g. APICS) and/or project management e.g. PMP, Prince2 etc.
- Demonstrated capacity for project budget management, change management, and leading and overseeing numerous, complicated projects.
- Have a thorough awareness and comprehension of the logistics, transportation, process optimization, and inventory management aspects of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain.
- Comprehensive understanding of lean or six sigma project management techniques and technologies.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership team and collaborate all levels
- Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
- Good analytical, written, presentation and communication skills
