In the role, you will play a pivotal role in steering growth in the Travel Retail online business, namely for pre-orders and post-travel sales from over 36 million travellers on SIA and Scoot annually.
Your responsibilities encompass overseeing online Pre-order/Post Travel online sales, profit and loss, optimising KrisShop’s traveller website to drive traffic and conversion and promotion set-up, marketing strategy to build awareness across various touchpoints (online and offline), and working with various internal stakeholders including merchandising, operations, cabin crew, communications team etc. to expand the product range, control costs, optimise capacity and facilitate the functional success.
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for driving sales target for Pre-order and Post Travel online sales and the P&L for the business.
2. Responsible for coming up and executing Marketing and Promotions strategies to attract travellers to shop before and after they fly.
3. Acquisition of new customers through targeting the KrisFlyer (SIA Group loyalty program) members.
4. Responsible for the set-up and optimization of the Traveller website to drive traffic and conversion.
5. Responsible for maximizing sales and profit by working with retail merchandising team to bring in relevant product mix through analysis of data such as sales, passenger profile etc.
Requirements
1. Proven track record of driving substantial sales growth within the ecommerce industry with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
2. Proficiency in the adobe commerce suite of products for web design and analytics
3. Strong business acumen, with capability to derive actionable insights that fuel business expansion
4. Familiarity with Travel Retail, customer trends and preferences
5. Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
6. Outstanding time management skills and the capacity to multitask effectively.
